Alfred and I met through our friends Steve and Ruth. Alfred, Steve, and Ruth had been knowing each other for several years. I met Ruth at St. Agnes were we both worked as nurses. Ruth had told me about Alfred in the beganing of 2007, she said that he was the perfect man for me. Having been through more than enough looser, I was not hopeful about Alfred. As luck would have it, Alfred was not ready to meet anyone at that time.

Months passed, and I had forgotten about meeting Alfred, until one day in December. Ruth called me and asked if I was ready to meet Alfred, and I was ready.

Ruth and Steve planned for Alfred and I to me with them and a few of their friends on December 14th around 7:30pm. I was nervous as a cat lock in a dog house, but when I saw Alfred I felt a calmness come over me. He had a gentle spirit about him that made me feel very comfortable. It turned out to be the perfect night.

Everything fell into place like God had planned for it to be, our children meet and got along well. Our parents me and became instant friends. But what really touch my heart was when my 20 year old son told me that Alfred was a good man and that he really like him, it brought tears to my eyes. And I knew that Gods had sent me my husband. My brothers and their wives loved Alfred, as well as all of the important people in my life.

We got engaged on Valentine Day, and set our wedding day for November 22, 208
